SD Soybean Stories: Jordan Scott

Jordan Scott grew up farming and looking up to his father for leadership inspiration. He left the farm in his early adult life to pursue other lanes of work before ultimately returning back to the farm after a conversation with his father, Kevin Scott, where he mentioned that if Jordan wanted to return to the farm, there was an opportunity for him.

Today, Jordan farms alongside his father and is a fifth-generation farmer on the land his family homesteaded in 1886. He most recently served on the South Dakota Soybean Association Board of Directors as President and has aspirational goals for where his leadership will take him next, pushing agendas and policies along to help benefit South Dakota farmers.
