  1. Directions: Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Stir together flour, soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter.
  4. Cream butter and sugar together.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir until mixed.
  6. Stir in mashed bananas and nuts (if applicable). Add flour, soda and salt mixture.
  7. Bake at 350 F in an 8-inch square pan or two loaf pans for 55-60 minutes.
