A Soy-Infused Espresso Martini for your Holiday Season

Soy-infused Espresso Martinis on a white marble tray.

As December unfolds and we embrace the holiday spirit, it's the perfect time to celebrate with friends and family, toasting to the warmth and joy that this season brings. What better way to elevate your holiday gatherings than with a decadent mocktail or cocktail that pays homage to soy and adds a touch of sophistication?

This Espresso Martini recipe not only embraces the holiday spirit but to make things even more intriguing, we're rimming our martini glasses with crushed Oreos, which contain soy lecithin. So, let's raise our glasses to the holiday season and the versatile soybean.

Before we dive into crafting our holiday-inspired Espresso Martini, let's travel back in time to the Civil War era. Coffee was a cherished commodity, but during these trying times, it became scarce. Enter the soybean, an unexpected hero, as it emerged as a substitute for coffee. This historical connection reminds us of the resourcefulness and versatility of soybeans.
