Prepping for Planting Season with Jeff Thompson

Planting season is upon us and we are prepping for the season with former South Dakota Soybean President, Jeff Thompson, who farms in Colton, South Dakota. Jeff shares his planting process, care, safety and environmental stewardship that goes into beginning a successful season.

Last year, a fast-moving pandemic meant all sorts of new challenges for farmers during planting season. With planting season fast approaching again, our farmers are gearing up for another critical year. Continuing to maintain family and individual health, as well as a healthy workforce, is still key to a strong season.
